They bring a wealth of international expertise, having worked with firms in the UK, US, and Middle East. FinAudit partners have previously held roles in Big 4 firms as well as a Fortune 100 pharmaceutical company in the US. One of our partners has played a vital role in the successful implementation of SAP in a large listed company. Since founding FinAudit, we have built our team with a strong, highly qualified group of supporting finance professionals, experienced accountants and trusted risk advisors.

Shariq Abdullah Partner

Shariq Abdullah is the founding and managing partner member of FinAudit Solutions.

With over 30 years of professional experience, including 15 years of C-suite, he has proven track record of success in Business Development, Finance, Risk Management, Ethics & Compliance and Internal Audit across a wide range of industries that have included large conglomerates and family-owned business.

Shariq’s current engagement includes Risk Consulting business development as Independent Senior Consultant for one of the Big 4 firms.

Shariq has served for 10 years as Group Chief Internal Auditor of a large conglomerate with interest in Fertilizer, Coal Mining, Power, LNG Terminal, Petrochemical, Telecom Tower and FMCG.His initiatives included the development of Risk Control Matrices framework, and the automation of the audit process through implementation of audit software and the adoption of a modern data analytic approach.

His experience includes business transformation as CEO of Insurance company for 5 years.

During the first 10 years of his career, Shariq completed his accounting training in the UK and worked in various finance positions in Enron Europe (UK). These included roles across the energy structuring/pricing desk, private equity group, power project development and capital pricing group.

• MBA (Imperial College London).
• BSc Econ (London School of Economics & Political Science).
